Gary Redmond
Gary Redmond BA CBCP
Gary Redmond has been involved in emergency management since the early 1990s. With the Canadian Red Cross he served as the National Coordinator, Disaster Services and Regional Director, Central and Northern Alberta.
In 1996, Gary became the Vice-President of Disaster Forum Association, in 1998, President and currently serves as the Past-President. He has participated on numerous national committees, including the national committee for the International Decade of Natural Disaster Reduction.
In 2001 and 2002 Gary worked with the International Red Cross in the former-Yugoslavia as a Program Manager.
With the Government of Alberta, Emergency Management Alberta, Gary worked as Emergency Management Officer, Business Continuity, providing training and support to all Government of Alberta departments.
Gary is currently serving as the Executive Director for the Capital Region Emergency Preparedness Partnership in Edmonton.
